Have you considered carrying pepper spray for personal protection? Pepper spray can provide an effective option for creating an opportunity to disengage and escape from a threatening encounter without immediately resorting to deadly force.

Like any self defense tool, pepper spray is most effective when you understand how and when to use it and have practiced beforehand. In this class, we’ll begin by reviewing a scenario video and discussing appropriate response options, decision making, and potential consequences.

Participants will then work through controlled scenarios, giving them an opportunity to practice responding to simulated threats using a water based pepper spray simulator. The goal is to build familiarity, confidence, and sound decision making in a safe training environment.

Each participant will receive a POM pepper spray and an inert training unit (approximately $25 value) to take home.
